Your eligibility for a Commonwealth Support Place (CSP) and a HELP loan is dependent on you residing in Australia for at least one unit of study contributing to your course. Holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa
If you are a Holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa, you are considered a domestic student. Your eligibility for a Commonwealth Support Place (CSP) and a HELP loan is dependent on you residing in Australia for the duration of your course. For more information about CSP and HELP Loan eligibility refer to Study Assist.
Holder of a Permanent Residency Visa
If you are a Holder of a Permanent Residency Visa, you are considered a domestic student. Your eligibility for a Commonwealth Support Place (CSP) is dependent on you residing in Australia for the duration of your course. You are not able to get a HELP loan except for very specific bridging study courses. For more information about CSP and HELP Loan eligibility refer to Study Assist.
New Zealand Citizen
If you are a New Zealand Citizen, you are considered a domestic student. Your eligibility for a Commonwealth Support Place (CSP) is dependent on you residing in Australia for the duration of your course. Additional eligibility requirements apply to HELP Loans. International On-Shore Student
If you are not an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, New Zealand Citizen, or the holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa and are undertaking study onshore in Australia, you are considered an International On-Shore Student.
International Off-Shore Student
If you are not an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, New Zealand Citizen, or the holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa and are undertaking study outside of Australia, you are considered an International Off-Shore Student.

The Australian Government has recently announced a delay in the provision of the Commonwealth supported place (CSP) rates for 2024. The 2024 tuition fees in the fee calculator are an estimate only and subject to change.
All fees quoted are for Units undertaken as part of a Course of Study.
Incidental Fees are not included in the Fees Calculator 2024 incidental fees are listed here.
Fees quoted apply to Units studied in 2024 only. Different fees may apply to Units studied each year. ECU's fees are updated annually.
ECU reserves the right not to offer a particular Course or Unit. Please check the timetable to see when/whether the unit is offered.

If you select a postgraduate unit as an elective in a Commonwealth Supported Course, you may not be eligible for commonwealth funding for this unit.
